About WINNING SPIRIT RANCH
Winning Spirit Ranch is owned and operated by Stephanie and Bill Taraszewski. What began as a single horse purchased for their daughter in 1999 quickly became the fulfillment of Stephanie’s lifelong dream. Before long, a second horse joined the family, and from that moment on, horses became more than a hobby—they became a way of life.
As their passion grew, all four of their children began taking riding lessons, and the family soon fell in love with a little Pony of the Americas (POA) named Dakota, who eventually became their own. Their involvement in the POA show world took them across the country, where each of their children enjoyed successful youth careers. Along the way, the family developed a deep appreciation for breeding, training, and exhibiting quality POAs, laying the foundation for what would become Winning Spirit Ranch.
After relocating to South Carolina in 2019, Stephanie and Bill established Winning Spirit Ranch, where they continue their commitment to raising exceptional Pony of the Americas. Their breeding program is centered around their beloved stallion, DKs Dare To Dream, affectionately known as “Pistol,” whose athleticism, temperament, and quality are reflected in each generation of foals. The ranch is also home to three outstanding broodmares who lovingly raise their foals, each contributing to the program in her own special way. One of those treasured mares, Mrs. Beasley, will retire after welcoming her final foal in 2026, leaving behind a legacy that will remain part of the ranch for years to come.
Today, Winning Spirit Ranch is dedicated to producing well-minded, versatile horses with the conformation, athletic ability, and disposition to excel both in and out of the show ring. Stephanie shares her passion through riding lessons, offers thoughtfully raised foals to carefully selected homes, and enjoys mentoring the next generation in the care, training, and partnership of horses.
At Winning Spirit Ranch, every horse is raised with purpose, every lesson is taught with patience, and every person who visits is welcomed like family. Stephanie and Bill believe that horses have a unique way of bringing people together, building confidence, and creating lifelong memories. Their greatest hope is to share that passion with others and help future generations experience the same joy that horses have brought to their own family.

Horses are living animals with natural behaviors that can be unpredictable. While Winning Spirit Ranch is committed to providing a safe environment through proper instruction, well-trained horses, and appropriate safety practices, participation in equine activities involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Participation in lessons, camps, clinics, and other ranch activities is voluntary, and all participants (or their parent/legal guardian) may be asked to sign a liability waiver before participating.

At Winning Spirit Ranch, we love sharing the special moments and memories made at our ranch. Photos and videos featured on our website and social media have been shared with the knowledge and permission of the individuals or families pictured.
We respect the privacy of every rider and family. No identifiable photos or videos of participants will be used for promotional or marketing purposes without the express permission of the participant or, in the case of minors, their parent or legal guardian.
